Hannah Mattern

Hannah graduated from Purdue University in 2006 with a Bachelors in Veterinary Technology. She joined Horizon Veterinary Service in June of 2007. She is married and has two horses, "Belle" and "Heritage",  three cats "Clancy", "Spur" and "Nemo" and a dog "Pete".
 



 
 
                        
Katie Letson 

Katie's interest in veterinary medicine began at a young age. She grew up on a farm in the Battle Ground area where she cared for horses, beef cattle, dogs, chickens, and pheasant. Katie joined Horizon Veterinary Service in 2001 while still in high school. She started as a kennel assistant and gradually progressed until she became a Registered Veterinary Technician in  2009. Katie enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with her friends and family. She is married to Jessie and has a two year old son Zen (her pride and joy).
 

Office Assistant
 


Kathy Allen


Kathy has been working at HVS as an office assistant since 2006. She enjoys working in an environment which allows her to help both pets and their people. Kathy has a wonderful human and animal family at home. She enjoys spending any spare time with her families as they are the most important thing in her life. Kathy also enjoy antiques, photography, art, shopping, and food!
 
 

 

Hospital Assistant



Betty Hickner
 
Betty has been with Horizon Veterinary Service since 1999. Betty helps in all areas of the hospital including cleaning, maintenance, landscaping, caring and assisting with boarders and patients. She grew up on a farm in Warren County, and loves to work with all creatures great and small. Betty and her husband Jerry have a home in the country. They have two married children and nine grandchildren. The newest addition to their family is a rambunctious boxer puppy named Abby.

Vicky McKay
 
Vicky joined Horizon Veterinary service in 1993. In the clinic she is responsible for taking care of our boarders and of our resident animals. Vicky has always loved animals, and has a special passion for horses. She has two cats and a horse. Vicky loves to read, crochet and spend time with her horse Mitsy.
