Join us for a "Puppy Socialization Class!" Classes will run four weeks and will include puppy play, basic training and fun class activities that will help socialize your puppy to items and people. Classes will be held at Horizon Veterinary Service Thursday evenings at 6:00p.m. Class will last an hour and will help your puppy become a well-adjusted adult.
Puppies 6 - 12 weeks old are welcome with proof of at least one vaccine done by your veterinarian. Puppies older than 12 weeks will need to be undergoing proper vaccine protocols. The introductory price for the four weeks is $60.00. Payment will be accepted at the clinic where you will be attending class. However, after the orientation if you feel that this puppy class is not right for you or your puppy there is no obligation to continue with our puppy class.
Puppies are required to have received a minimum of one set of vaccines (distemper and parvo) at least seven days prior to the first class and a first deworming and flea control is strongly recommended. Your new puppy should be kept up-to-date on vaccines throughout the class through your veterinarian, as we will not offer wellness services to puppy class attendees. Puppies showing signs of respiratory, gastrointestinal or other infections will not be allowed to attend class and be referred to your veterinarian for all medical inquiries.
Classes are taught by Shanna Rayburn, BS, RVT, KPA-CTP.
